“We,” “us,” and “our” refer to Ricardo Elevators Private Limited. “You” and “User” refer to you, the user of our website and/or our social media pages. “Personal Information” denotes data that identifies you, such as your name, contact details, and any information linked to these identifiers. “Meta Platforms” refers collectively to Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, and other products owned and operated by Meta Platforms, Inc.

We are committed to protecting your Personal Information. This policy outlines our collection and usage practices to ensure a secure experience. While we implement industry-standard security measures, absolute security cannot be guaranteed due to the inherent risks of internet transmission. By using our website or interacting with us through Meta Platforms, you consent to the collection, use, and processing of your Personal Information as described herein. If you disagree with this policy, please refrain from using our website or engaging with our social media pages.

This Privacy Policy should be read in conjunction with our Terms of Use, which constitute an integral part of your engagement with our platform.

2. Information Collection and Use

We collect, receive, and store your Personal Information to facilitate service delivery, enhance user experience, and ensure security. If you provide third-party account credentials (“Third Party Account Information”), you authorize the transfer of relevant data to your Ricardo Elevators account, which will be governed by this Privacy Policy.

Collected Personal Information is used for service provision, personalized experiences, promotional updates, troubleshooting, fraud prevention, terms enforcement, and other purposes disclosed at the time of collection.

  • Account Information: When creating an account, we collect your name, email address, and phone number. We may also collect and store Sensitive Personal Data or Information (SPDI), such as financial details and KYC documentation. Your Personal Information will not be sold or shared with third parties without your explicit consent. You retain the right to request deletion of your information, which will be processed accordingly.
  • Customer Information: We store customer data, including addresses, contact numbers, and transaction details. This information is shared with partner businesses only upon your authorization. Ricardo Elevators Private Limited is not responsible for any misuse of this information by third parties.
  • Activity Information: We record usage data, including searches, page views, browser type, IP address, location, and timestamps, to improve user experience and conduct statistical analyses.

2A. Information Collected Through Meta Platform Integrations

In addition to the information described above, we collect Personal Information through our integrations with Meta Platforms (Facebook, Instagram, and related services). This section describes what data is collected, how it is used, and your rights concerning such data.

2A.1 Meta Pixel and Tracking Technologies

Our Website uses the Meta Pixel (formerly Facebook Pixel), a snippet of code provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. The Meta Pixel collects the following data when you visit our Website:

  • HTTP header information (IP address, browser type, page location, document referrer, and user agent)
  • Pixel-specific data such as the Pixel ID and the Facebook Cookie
  • Button-click data, including any labels of those buttons and the pages visited as a result of clicks
  • Form field data (field names such as “email,” “name,” “phone”) when you submit enquiry or contact forms
  • Page metadata and browsing behaviour on our Website
  • Device information including operating system, hardware version, device settings, and device identifiers

This information is transmitted to Meta Platforms, Inc. and is used to measure the effectiveness of our advertising, deliver targeted advertisements on Facebook and Instagram, build custom and lookalike audiences, and perform analytics on user interactions with our Website and advertisements. The Meta Pixel may also utilise Advanced Matching, which hashes and sends additional user data (such as name, email, and phone number) to Meta for improved attribution and targeting.

2A.2 Facebook and Instagram Lead Ads

We may run Lead Ad campaigns on Facebook and Instagram that allow you to submit your information directly within the Meta platform without visiting our Website. When you interact with our Lead Ads, the following information may be collected:

  • Full name
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • City, state, or location
  • Any additional information you choose to provide in the form (e.g., service requirements, building type, number of floors)

This data is transmitted to Ricardo Elevators Private Limited through Meta’s Lead Ads system (and may be integrated with our CRM tools). By submitting a Lead Ad form, you consent to Ricardo Elevators Private Limited receiving, storing, and using the submitted information to contact you regarding our products and services, send you relevant promotional materials, and follow up on your service enquiry. Your Lead Ad data is subject to both this Privacy Policy and Meta’s Privacy Policy.

2A.3 Custom Audiences and Lookalike Audiences

We may use Meta’s Custom Audiences feature to deliver targeted advertisements to existing customers or prospects. This involves:

  • Customer List Custom Audiences: We may upload hashed (encrypted) versions of customer data (such as email addresses or phone numbers) to Meta. Meta matches this data against its users to create an audience for targeted advertising. The uploaded data is hashed prior to transmission and Meta deletes the matched and unmatched hashes after the matching process.
  • Website Custom Audiences: Using the Meta Pixel described in Section 2A.1, we may create audiences of users who have visited specific pages on our Website or taken particular actions (e.g., submitted an enquiry form).
  • Lookalike Audiences: Based on the Custom Audiences described above, Meta may create Lookalike Audiences of users with similar characteristics to help us reach new potential customers. No Personal Information from our customer lists is shared with other advertisers in this process.

You can opt out of being included in Custom Audiences by adjusting your advertising preferences in your Facebook or Instagram account settings, or by contacting us directly at admin@ricardoelevators.com.

2A.4 Social Media Interactions

When you interact with our official Facebook or Instagram pages (by liking, commenting, messaging, or following), Meta may share certain information about your interaction with us, including your public profile name, profile picture, and the content of your interaction. We may use this data to respond to your queries, improve our social media content, and analyse engagement. The processing of data on Meta Platforms is additionally governed by Meta’s Privacy Policy.

3. Intellectual Property

All logos, trademarks, and intellectual property on our Website are the exclusive property of Ricardo Elevators Private Limited. No rights or interests are transferred to you through your use of the Website. Unauthorized use or display of our intellectual property is prohibited.

4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We utilise cookies and similar tracking technologies to enhance your browsing experience. These include:

  • Essential Cookies: Necessary for basic website functionality and security.
  • Analytics Cookies: Used to understand how visitors interact with our Website, helping us improve performance and content.
  • Advertising Cookies (including Meta Pixel): Used to deliver relevant advertisements to you on Facebook, Instagram, and other platforms. The Meta Pixel places a cookie on your browser to identify you (without revealing your identity to us) when you visit our Website and when you interact with our advertisements on Meta Platforms.

You may disable cookies in your browser settings, but this may affect Website functionality and the relevance of advertisements you see. You can also manage your Meta advertising cookie preferences at Facebook Ad Preferences.

5. Enforcement

We may use collected information to enforce our Terms of Use and address violations.

6. Information Transfer and Sharing

We do not share your Personal Information with third parties except as required for service provision, legal compliance, or to protect our rights. We may share information with affiliates or in the event of a merger or acquisition.

In addition to the above, your Personal Information may be shared with Meta Platforms, Inc. (headquartered in the United States) through the integrations described in Section 2A. Such transfers are made in accordance with applicable data protection laws and Meta’s data processing terms. By using our Website or interacting with our advertisements on Meta Platforms, you acknowledge that your data may be processed in jurisdictions outside India, including the United States, where Meta’s servers are located. We take reasonable steps to ensure that any such transfers comply with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other applicable Indian laws.

7. Third-Party Links

Our website and social media pages may contain links to third-party websites, including but not limited to Meta Platforms (Facebook, Instagram). We employ industry-standard security measures to protect your information. Access is restricted to authorized personnel. Data shared with Meta Platforms is transmitted using encrypted protocols, and customer list uploads for Custom Audiences are hashed before transmission. However, due to inherent internet vulnerabilities, complete security cannot be guaranteed.

9A. Data Retention

Personal Information collected through our Website and Meta Platform integrations is retained only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this policy, or as required by applicable law. Specifically:

  • Lead Ad submission data is retained for a maximum of 90 days on Meta’s servers and is stored in our systems for as long as required to complete the service enquiry or customer relationship.
  • Meta Pixel data and Custom Audience lists are retained in accordance with Meta’s data retention policies and our advertising needs. Custom Audience lists are automatically refreshed or deleted as per our campaign schedule.
